2.) Brainstorm story ideas: Brainstorm three issues or events that are currently of interest to students, come up with at least one viable story idea for each of them.
3.) Get your story idea approved by your editor-in-chief (or section editor) and Ms. Floch
4.) If you are taking photos for this week's deadline, watch this video to help your adjust the settings in the Canon 7D cameras. You only need to watch the first 3 minutes and 50 seconds to review any information you will need to adjust your settings.
If you have an iPhone, download the Pocket Light Meter app to know what settings you will need to optimize your pictures.
Remember to always shoot in Manual Mode, you don't have to worry about any of the other modes.
5.) Begin working on your new deadline or polish your story from last week.
6.) Remember to always share your work with Ms. Floch, Leiani and your section editor(s). You can find their email addresses on the back journalism board or on this blog in the posts below.
