Language Objective: Students will research and list criteria to compare two products.
- Bell Work: Read the latest issue of the Warrior Ledger newspaper and write a response to at least one of the articles that stood out to you.
- Group Project: You will need to be in a group (2-4) students and decide on two products (phones, computers, cars, MP3 players... whatever products will give you a list of specific criteria to research) to compare in a video review. Once you decided on two products to compare, have Ms. F check you off and start researching both products at the library.
- Make a list of criteria in chart-form. At the library (or at home if you miss class), complete this chart with your research. Make sure every member in your group has a copy (either hard copy or digital) of your notes. You will need your notes to draft your review next period before we start filming with the iPads during the period after next. Your review will need to be between 2 and 3 minutes long. You can view a sample review here.
