Language Objective: Students will update their ePortfolios and write reflections on their video review group projects.
1.) Read The Book Thief for 15 minutes.
2.) After reading, answer the following questions:
- Briefly summarize what you read.
- List two main details and why you chose these two details.
- Make a connection between the text and yourself, another text or the world.
- Make a contrast to the text and yourself, another text or the world.
- List two questions you still have after reading.
4.) To update your coursework for English 12 (or 12th grade): Add your video review from Ms. Floch's English Channel. Just find the link here and drag a gray"Youtube" icon onto your page from the menu on the left. You then will be able to copy/paste the link to your video into this Youtube icon. Remember to hit "Publish" whenever you make changes.
5.) If you do not have an ePortfolio, you will have to create one in class. You can find instructions here and watch a short tutorial on Weebly here.
6.) Once you have added your Youtube video to your page, reflect on your project and your group work during this project. You can find Reflection Instructions and a Rubric here.
6.) Once you have updated your site (hit "Publish" to save your changes or no one will be able to see them!), fill out this form with your website's URL. You can find the URL for your site under settings. It should be something like: firstnamelastname.weebly.com. For example: www.msfenglish.weebly.com is the URL to my class website. You MUST submit this form in order to submit your URL and get credit for your portfolio and your reflection.
